coaxial vs component for rear deck
Can anyone give me their opinions for upgrading the speakers in the rear deck?
I know most people go the coaxial route. But is there any advantage/disadvantage to putting a component set in the rear deck? It is set up stock with a separate mid/tweeter. I have an extra set of morel comp's that I am thinking about putting in there if they do not sell here. But I am curious who has gone that route and the results. |

You won't notice any difference between the two...

The major drawback to component speakers in the rear is unnecessary additional expense. Since you already own them, it's not an issue.
As for the necessity of rear speakers at all, and the effects of rear fill on the soundstage, that's another subject entirely. |
