Subs in trunk...
I'm told by an installer that e90s have a firewall in the back preventing good quality sound and that if I wanted to be worth it I'd have to go with 2 x10" is this true?

If you have folding seats it shouldn't be a problem. If don't, it will be a bit harder to get bass into the cabin but it's doable.
You're not limited to just 2, 10"s. As long as you set the system up correctly, you can use whatever you want, within reason. |

Just corner load either a 10" or 12" and I'm sure you'll be happy! Corner load 2 10"s and you'll be amazed! Good luck.
