New subs
Hi all I\'m looking to put in one 12\" Rockford Fosgate T0d212 or T0d412 in the \"spare tire\" section I have the hifi system and I\'m not sure what kind of amp to buy as I\'m new to subs/amps an I\'ve just been recently doing research and there\'s hundreds of subs/amps combos. Everywhere I go and ask for quotes and what not they are quoting me $1700 for \"their\" system and when I look online for the same items it\'s only $400 I\'m looking to buy everything myself and find a reputable audio store with knowledge to install it for less than an arm and a leg.
Sub: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34864_Rockford-Fosgate-T0D212-T0D2-12.html Where I want to install: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=610976 I keep a spare tire in my trunk as I don\'t have run flats and dont really want to remove the tire as I make a 100 mile drive every few weeks, so space is a problem and I dont have folding seats or a ski boot so another problem is getting sound into the cab one idea I had as I\'m never going to sell the car is cut a square in the middle of the back panel in between the other two speakers and put a speaker grill there to get sound from the trunk as I noticed there\'s a whole towards the back of the trunk closest to the seats but I am not quite sure if it goes all the way through without impeding with anything, does anyone know for sure? Anyways thanks for reading and I\'m open ears for any other sub/amp combos that you guys recommend |

Contact vp electricity. I think you would be better off with a corner loaded box since it will save space and be more efficient. Don't cut the rear deck it will not make a noticeable difference.

X2 on the corner loaded fiberglass enclosure. Ditch the RF sub and get a JL or Morel.
