Lowering my 328xi

Hi everyone, I've read and search a lot on the subject here on e90post, but I'm still not sure and I'd like to know directly from some users.

I want to drop my 328xi on eibach pro-kit springs for a moderate drop (1") since this is my DD, even in winter. But I'm not really sure between the 2 kits from eibach: 2085.140 for 328i or 2092.140 for 335i? The vendors recommend the first but some users go with the later to get rid of the rake look.

Also, is changing the bumpstops mandatory on stock shocks? Might go with Koni yellow later but I'm kind of on a budget so springs only for now.

Thanks for your inputs!

Hi

Bump stops are not mandatory. I'm on eibach 140.2085 springs with stock shocks. Ride with run flats on 16 is brutal but 19s non-run flats is great. My offsets at the back are a bit aggressive so I do rub on dips and bumps.

You'll get recommendations of replacing shocks at the same time so you don't pay for labor twice. Also Coilovers are generally more preferred. If you can save, go later. If on a budget springs are okay but expect to pay more in the long term.

Here's my car lowered on eibachs with 19s:

hi,

I have a 2009 328xi coupe.

I can get my hands on a used Eibach pro-kit set (2092.140 for 335i).

so from you mentioned above, people are using this kit to reduce/eliminate the rake up front..?

I would probably also get a set of SP perches.. but have to get those non-xi tophats to fit.

if anyone can offer pics on this setup on a 328xi coupe would be greatly appreicated..!
