This is an issue that has been discussed in the AV forum.

Get your dealer to upgrade you to the latest version of Progman, and that should fix it.

iPod Classic charging problem.

Apple just provided a new solution to the charging problem: iPod Classic Firmware V1.1.

I just upgraded my iPod Classic to FW V1.1 and retested with the "old" cable (serial number 429 645) -> everything worked fine. The actual problem was that the iPod did not switch off after shut down of the car. Therefore the iPod's battery was drained over night.

For this problem see also the thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=6fl&page=45
