Wiring LED Scanner? HELP

I am trying to wire a VARAD LED Scanner (without alarm) and I need some help.
I have managed to wire the RED and Black (Pos and Neg) to the battery etc but I need to hook a third wire (orange) to the ignition Ground (the manufacturer says to go through the fusebox?). I am not an electrician by any stretch, but was wondering if anyone had an idea of how to do this.

I think If i could get the fusebox out, i could hook into the ground wire on the back. I could not find a DIY on removing the fusebox and was hoping someone could actually give me a clue as to how to connect this. Of course, the manufacturer says it is a 15 min install...

Is that orange wire supposed to go to a "ground when armed" wire on the car?
