Any probs with Hubers or F1 regarding the dot matrix?
I need some help and feedback guys. Summer is rolling around and this week is definitely a signal that things are getting hot. I think I've decided on getting a ceramic tint but I've been reading about the dot matrix issue and was wondering those of you who have the Huber or F1 had any issues since they were much harder to put on.
Can you also please tell me where you got your tints done. I am in So Cal so I've been hearing a lot about Song's and wonder how good a job they do since I am gonna be paying 2-2.5 times the regular price of a tint job. Thanks! |

I just got mine done. Not sure what film they used but as of yet no problems with the CA. Yes there is that green tint so I'm assuming it is some sort of ceramic. They did an EXCELENT job on the dot matrix. The installer told me that they heat up the dot matrix before installation and that its not a problem. It looks great. I've seen some that look like crap. I got mine done at Ultimate Shield in Orange.
Good luck! |

bartman32, thanks for replying to this noob -
I actually called Song's today and they told me that there will be a ghosting with the dot matrix section if I go 30% which I find hard to believe. For people who pay $475, that is not acceptable. I am hoping to get some more feedback. |
