They'd look great, plastidip works wonders. And they now have a gloss finish if you're not satisfied with the matte look afterwards. Check out the dipyourcar website it has videos and pictures plus tutorials

When I purchased my car, the rims were in really bad condition. My only option at the time was to plastidip the car. I've been running it for a few months. I'll most likely be upgrading once the tires are balding but can't really complain.

Spray it with water and use a microfiber cloth if need be. I have not had to really clean them when compared to how they were prior to being dipped.

How many cans did you use for all 4 rims?

used 2 cans, Buy 3 To be sure. Very easy. And it turns out pretty swell if done right.

i would suggest to also but at least 3 cans. you can use index cards around the rim to cover the tires. also get a spray adapter for the can to ensure even coats unless you have experience with dip or spray painting. spray about 4 or more coats on each rim and wait at least 10mins between coats. oh yeah and when the can gets low and starts to spit out the dip use another can or else you will get some bad texture in the rims. post pics if you do it.

I personally don't like the look of any of those plasti dipped rims, it ruins the classy of the car. The Silver / gun metal rims make the car look so much cleaner.

I've had plasti diped rims on my 09 c300 for over a year now and they still are holding up great. One thing I recommend you do after you dip your wheels is wash them at least once a week with dishwasher soap and water, really does wonders for keeping the dipped wheels looking new because after time, they begin to look faded.

Plastidip is played out. Buy black steel wheels like the cars have that use hubcaps. OLD AND TIRED.

+1

Personally think it ruins an otherwise perfectly fine looking rim...just totally cheapens the look of the car overall

You can afford the car yet can't spend a few more bucks for legit black rims???

not my cup of tea whatsoever...but if you like it that's all that matters I guess

Plastidip is awesome for lots of things like window trim or badges, and miscellaneous stuff. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of it on wheels but that might be because I tend to not like black wheels anyway (dipped or otherwise.) I'm a gunmetal man... a VMR dark gunmetal man, specifically
