Wheel spacers question

Alright, so I have a 2007 E90 335i (without sport package) on 159 wheels. I'm definitely getting some spacers for the rear wheels and maybe the front. But my main questions are these:

1. What thickness is best on the rear for these wheels? On the front?

2. If the above question cannot be answered, what should be the difference in thickness between the front and rear spacers (rears should be 10mm thicker than fronts, or whatever)?

I have 17x8 et20 front and 17x8 et10 rear.This would be the same as your style 159 17x8 et34 with 14mm front and 24mm rear spacers.I'm lowered tho.

So basically if I make the rear spacers 10mm thicker than the front I should be ok? I'll probably do 5mm front and 15mm rear.

What brand spacers are you considering? I'm thinking about adding them to my 2011 E90 with Sport package. Here's some basic information that's helped me determine the correct sizing

Everything you need to know: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-wh...yclopedia.aspx

How to measure: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-wheel-spacers.aspx

Right now I'm leaning towards the Racemax spacers from BMPdesign.com, 12mm in front and 16mm in rear. Lowest cost I've found, includes longer bolts and free shipping. As I understand it, you'll need at least 12mm thick to maintain the hub centric feature of your OEM wheels to avoid balance/vibration issues.

Garage List
2013 BMW M3  [10.00]
2015 BMW M4  [0.00]
2013 BMW F30  [0.00]
2014 BMW F22  [0.00]
2013 BMW F06  [0.00]

I would recommend measuring and then getting the appropriate spacer for your needs.

You should consider at least 10mm spacer to front, because 5mm arent hub centric and it might cause vibration. Unless you get one these to front.

I have HR Trak+ spacers.

This type of thread comes up way to often, people need to search before making a new thread. That picture should be a sticky in this section IMO

Ok scratch that. I measured it again and I think I'll go with 10mm front and 20mm rear.
