Confirm bumpstops
Hi - about to purchase some Koni yellows to pair with Eibach sportlines. I want to replace my bump stops while I'm at it.
Can someone please confirm that it is this: Front E36 M3 3133 2225 377 Rear E86 Z4 3353 6770 350 Also, anyone know the cheapest place to buy these other than eBay? For all on eBay shipped its approx. $70-75 Thanks! |

here's a better idea.
Go to realoem.com or getbmwparts.com and search on your part numbers. That way you'll know if your original plan is correct. Or, if you're lazy, just google the numbers and see what you see. |

If you're running stock 3 series bump stops now, your new bump stop choice will be shorter than your stocks and give you more suspension travel, which is good from a ride quality angle, since your springs are going to lower and take suspension travel away. I don't have experience with Sportlines, but from what I've read, they'll drop fairly aggressively. So IF you end up rubbing after installing shorter bump stops, you could consider: 1. Removing the springs and going back to where you were. 2. Putting your old stops back which might keep you from rubbing but will rob you of suspension travel with the new springs. 3. Leave your new shorter stops on and consider something called "packers" which add additional height to your shorter stops. I think this is where the other poster is going, sending you to SupremePower. Last edited by mlifxs; 08-26-2014 at 10:44 AM.. |

I appreciate the options and opinion.
I should probably change the title. I am more looking for people who have lowered, and did change their bump stops to shorter ones. |
