Poll: Dinan Flash CEL/Limp Free?
The Dinan Flash has been out approximately 4 months. So is Dinan holding true to their "error-free" bravado? Have any Dinan Users experienced a CEL/Limp? Thanks for you input.

Is this a serious question? If so, you do know stock 335i throw CELs and go into limp mode.

The piggys try to trick the ecu into thinking it is operating within normal parameters. Since they must work within the framework of the stock DME, then have a different set of rules to work under. A flash re-writes the rules. |

in S/W we have what we call BIT(build in test) which is alive in multi-thread CPU monitoring all kinds of stuff this is the part that Dinan wouldn't touch. And it report back to CPU and CPU will write it as code based on severity into flash so tech can check what part is going wrong. Hope it helps. |

really the CEL on Dinan if any would indicate a bug on their S/W. Only time will tell how good they understand the original BMW code (cracked op-code version since they don't have access to the source code). |

On a side note, the many options available are just fantastic for this car. I think the 135i will just make life even better as more competition enters this thriving market. The N54 tuning world is just phenomenal and getting better. |

I like how the one guy who has supposedly had a problem didn't post the details. Think he might be in the hater category.

DInan is a good tune, if you PURCHASED the car. Get the turbo tuner is you leased it or are thinking of keeping the car short term, unless of course, you dont care about money |
