Simply Stunning! I want...

An E30!

A Dolphine Grey, Burgundy or in Black or even Blue... just give me the loot!!

I'm trolling the likes of ebay and gumtree in search of one even though I've no space or dosh to have one (just yet!). It's one of those that I have always wanted and I know I'll get one but just look at her..

A property is first in line though but I'm more excited about an old school e30

Why have they all got stupid wheels on that don't look right or fit the car, when i see a car like that i automatically think the owner is a dick head. Nothing wrong with the cars themselves of course, but with a decent set of tasteful wheels they would look so much better, those guys have probably spent a fortune on those wheels just to ruin the car.

+1

I'm sure they would look great in stock form.

But they all look like they have been abused, the suspension on each car is either broken or has been worked on by Halfords.

Each to his own and I too think about the abuse it may have had fromt it's owner but not everyone is a 'di&khead' with having wheels like that and not everyone rags the sh!t out of them just because they look a certain way. Alot of people put tremendous effort in getting their car to look a certain way and take pride and joy and driving it, but then again.... all this is very subjective lol. Personally speaking I love the look but I'm sure I'd do something a little different than Alpina or BBS wheels!

Again all subjective and each to their own but how can you tell if it's done by Halfrauds, that's a big statement to make and I'd be pretty pee-d off if I posted up my car with a similar stance and someone said.. 'it's a halfords ting init'.
Not saying you're wrong but I think the odds are stacked against you if we were to go purely on the fact that most BM owners on here and ones I know stay totally away from halfrauds for things like suspension and springs/coilovers lol. It would be a totally diff league if these were kitted out fiestas.. I'd agree with you all day long.

I am not saying they have to put standard wheels on , just ones that fit, and possibly have the suspension at a hight that suits the wheels.

Tyso that e30 m3 is a true classic .. I saw theat too amongst a dream search lol.
Z3man: if those wheels didn't fit or wouldn't be in driveable condition they wouldn't be mounted on in the first place. I think they all look simply stunning, as per ride Q I cannot comment, but the stance IMO is amazing. I love an aggressive e30 and for me personally, it's creme de la creme!

No idea why the hating on the BBS wearing E30's? These are the ultimate wheels for this car, and they suit a good suspension drop too.
I used to run 17" BBS RS wheels on a Golf VR6 back in the day, a wheel that is simply timeless imo.

I think you've just hit the nail on the head... The word is Timeless.

I really like the grey one on the Alpine wheels. Not so keen on the BBS type wheels and slammed although they do still look good.

There was a forum story about a couple of years ago where someone had found an unused M3 Evo Sports:
http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread...eage-sport-evo
Not read that thread but if I remember correctly The owner had bought two New Cars to give to his sons on there 18th Birthday and forgot about them Story was a bit hard to believe until the New Owner arrived back in the UK with both as well as an unused RS200 and a Mercedes 190 EVO II

E30 love !

Personally I appreciate the work involved to get a good set of BBS wheels and set the stance just right. Suits the E30 shape, in the words of crazy Charlie Sheen "winning!"

I'd like to see some of those BBS wheels or similar style on an E90 if anyone has any pics.

I was thinking of some Z3 Sport 2 piece wheels like this http://www.mgandporsche.com/bm.html but I think the offset's all wrong.
