new buyer needs help from the pros
Greeting...
I'm looking at my first BMW purchase but need help with price and comments on things I have not considered. I'm looking at a CPO 328i. CPO 2007 15K miles Premium Sport Heated Seats Split/folding rear seats Xenon Steptronic $30K before tax, tags etc. Car listed as owned by BMW of NA - clean hist Thoughts? Thanks in advance. |

Remember to that Manheim doesnt care what options are on the car, only make model and mileage, this is what the dealers use when YOU trade in a car to them, so keep that in mind, don't go by internet readings KBB, NADA, etc.. they are behind current market economy. I recently got an estimate on a trade that should have been around $32k but dealer only estimated as $22K so internet KBB, Nada are like $10K too high. Unfortunately used car market has tanked. A year ago that price would have been decent but not now.

I agree. Payout on my '07 leased 328xi is $32K - car has 21K miles and is similarly equipped, but with Logic7 and satellite radio. One of the reasons I ordered a new '09 - it didn't make sense to buy it out - even if BMW Financial dropped the buyout by a couple of thousand. I think the pricing above is about right.
