I do wonder if when having alignment done if the technician might knock them out if they can't get the camber where the want it. Maybe not under standard setups.
I had M3 arms fitted to my 335 and asked them to get the camber to a certain number. Forget what it was now. Knocked the pins out and pushed the bolts across. Felt nicer in the corners.
