Aftermarket head unit
I've just installed the alpine kit and new underseat subs on my car and now I'm looking at replacing the standard head unit. I've found one I like the look of and was wondering if anyone has fitted it and if so any problems? Also will the alpine kit cause any problems?

I don't have the alpine kit as I had always intended on fitting one of these Android head units but I can't see any reason why the head unit would cause any issue, the built in amp is more than sufficient for base system (with added tweeters and MB Quarts on the rear shelf) and I use the sub pre-out for a punchy 10" in the boot. This head unit should have pre-outs for front and rear so you could plug your Alpine straight into the head unit. Actually sounds half decent! I don't feel I need to do anything else with mine! |
