Official MMW Headers Review. BEWARE Extreme Exhaust Content!

So, this is ignorance on my part, but what do afermarket headers do?i assume that the theory is improved exhaust flow, but is that because the primary cat is removed when they are placed, or is the exhaust routed differently, or what?please educate me. Thanks.

yes mainly because they eliminate the primary cats which are a big restriction

I shipped out a batch on Friday and have more boxes leaving on Monday for you guys too, lots more reviews and videos when others get their setups installed coming up. Group buy guys are obviously getting priority on orders and they will be the ones running them first.

I would also like to say thanks to SR for getting his setup done and sounding crazy! I know we all realize this is a very aggressive setup and most of you will be running something more conservative, but even on the extreme end of things it is still good.

Some setups I know coming up off the top of my head include a BMW PE setup, an Eisenmann Race muffler (no 2nd cats, no res), also a MMW Headers + MMW CS setup (no res no 2nd cats), and more as well - so a lot of diversity in the sound and tuning is coming up for these too.

Still working away on the S/C for those wondering, but ill update the other thread for that too.

Gavin. How come you posted that fedex tracking was sent on the headers months ago when nothing was shipped? A lot of prospective buyers are thrown off by that and the eta's that seemed arbitrary.

The tracking numbers were sent, but there was an issue with the ceramics on them so it had to be pushed back and redone.

very much so... definitely threw me off... though, i never got an actual "tracking number" only an email saying "I sent you the tracking number... did you get it?" -obviously not... then there was another extent of 3 weeks without any sort of reply or update... way to stay on top of things...

@Gavin... when you say "a batch got sent out" what exactly does that mean? Cuz i was definitely in the top 5 (of 10) of the group buy when it was first announced and i still have no tracking number for my headers... jus saying...

I know looks aren't everything, but these look low quality metals were used compared to AA's. They look almost "weak," From a structural point of view.

That doesn't mean much, my problem is those primaries and secondaries tubes look massive. That has to lead to a overall loss in power. I'm not a fan of the coupling either.
