Antenna plug location
Trying to hardwire in my satellite radio. Can't seem to find the antenna plug in location so I can use a fm direct adaptor.
Anyone know where it is located? |

Bump, pulled the radio, hoping it was back there. Just the satellite radio connector was there. Is it the same one? I have the larger connection for the antenna for the direct adaptor.

I am trying to put an FM direct adaptor in, as I don't like switching to use the aux input as I have an ipod installed as well. I like my stiletto 2 and the recording capabilities of it so I don't want to retrofit in sirius.
My FM direct adaptor has the motorola type antenna, as seen here: The back of the radio has this connector, the european antenna, as seen here: So does anyone know if the top connector is anywhere in the car? Or do I have to get an adaptor? Thanks, hope that clears it up. |

So finally answered my own question. Adaptors are needed. The antenna plug in is a european version, BestBuy or TSSRadio sells adaptors for roughly $30.
Still don't know if there is a plug in like the top one in the car, but doubt it. Hope this helps someone in the future. |
