any night pics or night driving experience with there? they look blinding to oncoming traffic as most say so? can you still see the distinct rings, or is it so bright at night that is all blurred in one mess.

I don't have any night pics but they're not as annoying as some night pictures may seem. Sure, they are bright but not overdone. The angel eyes are still visible at night and aren't just blaring out. Overall, I'm extremely happy with them. Hope that helps.

Notice the even distribution of light between the rings, solving the misdirection of light from OEM.

Angel Eye Bulb?

Hey everyone,

I have done quite a bit of research into new AEs for my ride. 2007 e92 335i. I really like the OSS AEs but they are expensive. I told my e46 M3 friend about them and he said he got these LED add-on rings for 60 bucks. They look good, I never would have guessed they were only 60, or add-ons for that matter. I have the halo rings, it's just that the bulb that illuminates them is incandescent, and gives that yellow color we are all familiar with.

Is there a bulb replacement that can illuminate the existing rings with a whiter color? I don't understand why some of these AE kits are so involved, with many components and dummy resistors, etc.

How can I get white AEs like OSS without the cost? Is it possible?

Alex

Lightbulb hey mike , i need your help

[QUOTE=Mike@F1 Autohaüs;6430889][CENTER]OSS Designs E92/93

*shown with multiple indirect angles

hello mike , there is one thing that i still confused about. all that i know about changing angel eyes from OEM to Bright white (by piaa, oss, etc.) it's only change the LED electrical box ( i dont know what they call it) .

but when i'm attracted to oss design , i noticed that the angel eye ring from oss design is different from the other (its somekind had more dot's inside it) . on your images about oss design, did they use the original angel eye ring from bmw? or they change it to?. sorry for my bad english before.

I had AIB v3.0 before OSS and they burned out sadly. I had them only for about a year. They were a nice plug and play's but for the price ($300) they should have lasted long IMO.

EDIT: My avatar is with the AIB , so everyone can get an idea. I would take pictures of the OSS's but my iphone 4 can't pick them up too bright.
Another great option for people in the Northeast or elsewhere is the new ACM LED angel eyes. There is no need to ship the headlights out since the install facility, AUTOcouture, is in Hillsdale, NJ. If you are not local, you can also ship your headlights in to have the ACM LED rings installed. They can also paint your headlights any color combination you'd like. The 'blackout' is a popular paint scheme, where the chrome pieces on the projector housing of the headlights and the turn signals are blacked out.

Check out the link in my signature below if anyone is interested. Please contact Sal@AUTOcouture for more information regarding these angel eyes. Please update the thread with these pictures of the ACM LED angel eyes:

I'm interested in the new Lux 5.1 and MTEC v3's.

Any side by sides of the two newest offerings to the market?

I am also interested in this question.
I have searched the forum and I found out that the Angel iBright 3.0 had many heat sink deformations. I don't know what the current status is.

many members have been very satisfied with the LUX H8 V3. Do a search on AIB VS LUX and you will get a lot of results to read through.
