Keep your 330. Modify it - do suspension work, brakes and the intake and exhaust. You'll love your 330 even more.

Audi may have 450hp, but it weighs 4000lbs too. I'm sorry, but if you love corners, then you're not going to like the Audi that much. If you're getting 17mpg in your 330, you're going to get 10 in the Audi.

The RS6 actually drives pretty nicley. I mean, yes it is bigger and heavier, but it drives a LOT better than the S4 i was looking at before i got the 330, and the steering is almost as accurate as the bmws. You really need to drive this car to feel its acceleration, its ridiculous.

Id rather not say haha. it was absolute bull shit, he gave me a number, and then dropped it by 5,000 because APPARENTLY ive been in accident just because my hood was repainted, wtf...and a dent on my roof (legitimately about a 1/4 inch big) dropped it another 2,000. I threw the offer away in front of him haha. Not like i was going to take it there anyway, was just kinda curious what they would give me. We took our sequoia there about 4 years ago, they offered 15,000, we sold it for 21.

Now Im pretty sure Im going to go with a used 335, and put a JB3 in it. That way i keep my e90 handling and steering, and get equal acceleration to the RS6. Ive got my car listed, let me know if any of you would like a 330i in the Washington DC metro area, I take really good care of it! Just hope putting a JB3 in the 335 wont f*** up the engine too bad, im hoping that if i show the dealer a pic of my engine overheating, or something to that effect, theyll be able to put an oil cooler in. Otherwise im assuming i will have some trouble

Isn't the 330i a little lighter then a 335i, it should handle a little better.

how can you compare a RS6 to a 330? Totally apples to oranges.

RS6 is a performance oriented full sized luxury sedan. (M5 comparable)

330i is an entry level luxury sedan. (A4 comparable)

If you want to be flashy, fast, and the mpg of a V8 go for the RS6

Research very well the costs of owning RS6. Go to Audiworld forums, as around, how much main parts would cost (it shares stuff with A6 so it's not as expensive as you might think) but main bits like brakes and pads and oil changes and tyres it uses, etc, get a ballpark figure. If you are OK with those - get RS6, that car is insane. It is a bit boring to ddrive on limit according to most accounts since there is no drama to it, just brutal bullet train power. If thats what you like, and not happy oversteer you get with bimmer - buy the Audi. I think nowadays is good time to buy cars like that. You only live once - if you want it - and it seems you really do - get it. So waht if it turns into expensive disaster with costs, at least you'd have owned one.

Give the voice of reason a cup of Shut the Fack up and buy the Audi.

I mean...you can compare them because they are about the same price. Thats how this started in the first place. They are also equally fun to drive, with the 330i having sublime reflexes, and the rs6 having insane power. I wanted the power, but didnt want to give up the reflexes, so i thought a 335 jb3 could be a good medium, assuming i can get a good deal on one. Would you guys agree?

Thats kind of what I was thinking, its just such a monster. BUT if i could have the same power from a 335, that would be ideal, because the e90 can handle like none other

True, same can be said about e60 M5s. They are dirt cheap to buy used.

Sure a 335 seems to be the best of both worlds, e90 body with a easily tunable engine setup that is capable of much more.

Do you mean e39 M5s? e60's are up in the high 30's and low 40's. Im talking mid 20's. Also, just putting this out there, not really interested but just realized its in the same price range. What about a used C6 Corvette? Just putting it out there...dont kill me...

Yes, that is always the question. Talked to a friend whose an Audi SA, said i wont be able to leave the dealer for less than 2g. At all times. Brakes i think he said are like 5, drc suspension is something rediculous. He said maybe twice a year id have to go in, depending on how its been maintined. The brakes only last for 20k tho. ...He drives an e39 m5, just btw

are you just wanting the acceleration? or are you concerned with the brand?
I'm saying because while I love my 335i, my EVO VIII was better at every performance mark (acceleration, cornering, everything except gas mileage). My Evo was pretty heavily modified I'll grant you, but it was still cheaper than the Audi or the BMW.

It wasn't nearly as nice, and yes, there was no warranty, but anything that runs 12.4 on the drag and can seat 4 adults isn't bad.

Nah im not concerned with the brand at all. I actually had considered looking at EVOs at one point, but I just think I want a little more luxury in my car, heated seats, leather, etc etc. Just a tad raw I think, if i had the money to get a "racing" car and still have a daily driver, Id definatley look into it. Thanks for the insight though that is a pretty sick car
