Dyno done today on 335i X w/ Dinan Stage II

Well I just got back from the dyno test which was done on a Mustang Dyno. Here are the final results and the graphs:

301 HP at the wheels
326 Torque

They had the conversion factor for the AWD at 301 x 1.28 = 385 HP at the Crank, but not sure what the exact factor should be. That is what they use for the AWD Audi. This shop does Audi, Porsche, and WV, but are slowly getting into BMW. this chart is for the 3rd run, the other 2 were pretty much the same +/- 2 HP.

I did see someone do a stock run on a Mustang and got 251 RWHP, and his flash numbers came out right at 302/329 for the Dinan II HP/Torque run.

WIth those baseline #s this would come out to around 360 or so crank HP.

mine were similar but my baseline was 243whp in 100 degree weather. Note: I dynoed the 303whp without an aftermarket ic. Now I have AA fmic. would be interesting to see whats it at

What conditions were you testing in? How were the fans on the dyno? Did you turn DTC off?....just curious

thanks for the post!
I wish there were more dyno's of the Dinan tune.
How do you like the throttle response?
Do you experience the whiplash starting from a stop in normal driving?
