ive got black trim to trade for chrome, maybe just the top, idk i heard the bottom is hard to get off.

if I were you, I'd ask for trade + money, chrome is worth much more than the black plastic trim.

i'm sure he's talking about the chrome window trim. but i'm almost certain he has a sedan because i believe all the coupes already have chrome window trim, even the 328i.

i wanted chrome too.

he's talking about the window and door sill trim. The chrome door sill one bends, but if you're really careful, it'll be fine. If you can't remove that part correctly enough to be used again, I'd just trade him te top trim for his entire trim and let him buy the bottom ones on his own

then do what SpecC suggested, trade your full black trim + cash for someone's full chrome trim OR trade your full black trim + buy the bottom chrome strips yourself for someone's uppder chrome trim

I would get the shadowline trim (it's metal and black), crazy expensive though, take a look at beauderek's car, he's got shadowline trim on it

i was hoping to do a top for top trim trade because i dont want the person with chrome to damage the bottom one.

hmmm, I dunno...those weren't great pics of the trim. I though it was a diff color than his car and stood out a little. Regardless, way to much for my blood...

those weren't great pics because, no offense to beauderek of course, the pics sucked ass, they weren't taken properly, too much flash. I've see the shadow trim in person, it's a beaut
