I've been through two sets of springs, a spring and shock combo and I'm on my second set of coilovers. If I had to do it all over again, I would just go straight to coilovers and save myself the time, energy, and money of course. Coilovers just feel better, the adjust ability is a lot nicer than just having springs and being done with it, and because you will eventually go from springs to coilovers more than likely, it'll be less expensive of course to go straight to coilovers, then keeping them.

That's my opinion

I'm going to have some HR Sport Springs for sale soon if interested. Should drop your car 1-1.5" or so and is a rather inexpensive way to lower your car, if that is the only thing you are looking for. Like MB said, I'm paying some big bucks to upgrade to coils, which I should have done in the first place. I'm more concerned about performance and handling vs. aesthetics.

FYI I'm in Sac too.

Shocks & springs if you just want lowering + a little better handling. That's what's on your car now.

Coils if you want to race.
