How often do you change spark plugs?
On a 335i....
How would i know if they need changing? How often? They were changed at 47k miles by bmw... car is now on 58k miles... |

They reckon tie it in with every 3rd oil change (assuming you follow extended 15-20k changes) so that's 45-60k. If yours were done at 47, then thats about right, 90k for the next set! |

hmm...ok...
Just got some misfires and Cobb mentioned spark plugs and coils... Need to find out whats wrong...Getting a bit annoyed that the Cobb maps are not working on my car...when the car runs perfect std... |

what else might cause misfire apart from spark plugs and coils? ... just worried its injector related?... |

Looks like you only have 11K on the plugs. hmm... I'd pull the #6 one out and compare it to the rest.
Coil packs are easy to check, swap the coilpack between two cylinders and see if the misfire changes with it. Injectors are possible, but rare, especially if you have been through the injector/HPFP recall. Good luck!

Mine was covered by BMW extended warranty at no cost at all, job was even done on my drive by the BMW Services Technician. I was surprised that they did not ask for some contribution as the spark plugs were due to be changed on service.

Just curious I had my coils replaced under recall their recently, does that mean they would automatically do the plugs along with that or not?

No, coils only - plugs not covered by the recall. If you feel they need changing, the recall is an ideal opportunity to get it done...
