3 months ago isn't a long time.. I think it's ridiculous. I'm already spending 4 figures there.. give me a god damn way to get home.

Got the wastegates fixed at BMW Toronto -- under original warranty on a CPO car bought from Grand River BMW (part of the Quinn Group) -- back in December. Was given a loaner free of charge. There was a bit of a mess up which resulted in having to book a second appointment to get the car in, which probably helped the cause for a free loaner.
That being said the loaner was an F30 328i. Got the job done, but the car did not make me smile once. Kinda heartbreaking actually.

Pretty fustrating to deal with them, they're always "busy" my chek engine light went on and they wont be able to look at it another 2 weeks. I hope the car blows up by then and they'll have to warranty the whole car. |

Went to BMW Toronto and they wanted $65 for a BMW loaner. I have to take my car in for two recalls, an oil change and brake pad service. When I went to Maranello back in December, they gave me a free loaner since I took my car in for a recall; they usually have a way to Bill BMW Canada for it. Did anyone else have to deal with this $65 fee?

Just got an email from my local BMW retailer. Apparently BMW Canada is charging $24.95 per repair order for a loaner car. They title it the "Enhanced Mobility Program". More like nonsense to me.

+1 ... Just checked my bank statement and T+C charged me $30 for the rental car when they specifically told me it's complimentary. Those bastards.

^ go back and give them hell. If you don't get this back, then bring a shopping bag and get $30 worth of juices, pop, water, sugar, cream from the lounge.
Yikes, I have my service being done there next week. I better get them to put this in writing for no charge loaner. |

That's why I don't buy new crap anymore. Dealerships will screw you left and right. Buy used and go somewhere else for the work.
In the defense of the dealerships... there more more customers > loaners. Some customers will get it, and some won't. It may depend on many factors. How much like they like you, previous customer, you driving a 328 or a M3, etc. |

Yup.. called them back and gave them shit lol Should expect to see a credit back within this week .. hopefully they didn't lie and screw me over again
I suggest not going there for service, period. I'd hate to see more and more people getting screwed with this dealership... Quote:

BMW dealerships in Canada overall have poor service. Especially the Budd's group. It's embarrassing. Then you consider how unreliable our cars are and how even BMW's new models aren't as industry leading as they used to be (F10 5 series, F30 3 series are not even as close as good as the E46 and E90 when they came out), it makes a strong argument to not buy BMW. I think Mercedes and Lexus especially (the new IS model!!) have made great strides to make a better car than what BMW is making. Poor reliability, expensive repairs, poor resale, and terrible service are almost enough for me to turn away from this brand.

BMW Toronto charge a $20 admin charge per rental, not per day. It used to be free and they just changed in 2015. $20 for a loaner car is very reasonable and in addition, it is always a BMW. I think each dealer can have a different policy.

So I had work done at Parkview and they gave me a brand new 320i as a loaner.
There was like four 320i loaners sitting outside when i grabbed mine. Didnt get charged for it. |
