yea i bet that intercooler helped, not sure if stock exhaust system are making big power, can also cancel out catch can and oil cooler(but this can act like a intercooler for a run or two i guess maybe 5WHP more consistent with oil temps staying cooler)
agree with you. the oil cooler I guess really made the numbers be more consistent but I dont think there was any power gains from the oil cooler, and obviously not from the catch can lol

Congrats
And if he would of used a really high reading dyno he might of gotten 485 rwhp and 510 rwtq.
But guess what, his car would still be making the same power as it did with the 360 rwhp and 355 rwtq rating he got on his dyno.
Isn't that amazing.

But as Hotrod said, the ratings are all relative to each dyno.
Who gives a rats-ass what the numbers say when compared to other dynos, it's the GAIN you got that matters.

As for the track numbers, nice work man.
high 1.8's 60' time on stock runflats means that track is VERY grippy and with 114.8 mph trap speeds, means it's a nice fast track too.

Which track and what was the DA? I'm guessing below sea level.
6AT car or 6MT?

I posted the weather conditions in my original post for yesterdays dyno and the stock run dyno which was 7 months ago. To be honest with you everybody that day at the track were shocked of how well the cars were gripping, I was there 2 weeks ago and could not get a 60ft time better than 2.1

They probably prepped the track well before you guys ran and put a lot of IIRC it's called VHT at the launch point.
It's like glue at allows great launches.
When you went 2 weeks ago and couldn't get better than 2.1 60' time, the track was clearly not prepped too well.

I agree with you but I just thought I'd dyno the car at ICS for the sake of seeing how it compares with the rest. That day i was really shocked on how well the track was gripping, most of the times when I go I cant stop spinning my tires in first. But last friday, everyone seemed to get good traction. I saw a f*cking street legal cobra that lifted its tires of the ground by ~5inches that day!!!!

Nice, I can tell you right now if the track is only 80 feet above sea level, if temps were below 75 degrees that night, you had well below sea level DA's I'm sure.
Makes for some really fast times, combined with the fact they obviously prepped the launch pad well that day.
Good times for you guys.
Us west coast guys are jealous, we have no track options like that anywhere close to us.

Great Run! Was traction disabled? Did the Tire slippage from JB3 1.1 cause you to feather the throttle at all? Or you pretty much had the foot on the pedal after launching? Also, is the tune pre or post 29.2?

I meant the weather conditions while you were doing your passes at the track.

yes traction was fully off, the tire spun a bit at the launch but my foot was on the floor, i didnt feather it at all. I have the pre-29.2 tune

thanks shiv, its true you hold the highest trap speed but if you had a 1.6 60ft time instead of the 2.0 wouldnt your trap speed have dropped to 114 as well? Because I think the better 60ft you have, you will sacrifice some of the trap speed, right?

I think it was around 50F and 65% humidity. The track is about 80ft above sea level i believe bit I'm not sure about that.

My trap speeds remained constant between 1.85 and 2.3 60' times And they actually went UP when I put on drag radials. I think with 6MTs, there is enough potential for driver error that the earlier you can hook up, the more track you have available for acceleration. Especially for drag racing n00bs like me.
