Shine-On detail and Paint Shield cancelled!
The M6 was due to have the full Shine-On treatment today followed by Paint Shield protection on the front bumper tomorrow.
However, the front end is such a mess after the ring; it's littered with stone chips and is extremely pitted. Therefore, I've decided to have the front bumper resprayed next week to ensure it is perfect before any sort of protection is applied. I'm actually having Sytner Leicester do the job (really not sure if that's a good thing ) and have insisted that they remove the front bumper, strip it back and smooth it before painting; I think my final condition was that it needed to look like it's just come out of the factory! At the same time I'm having the leather replaced on the drivers seat as the previous owner clearly couldn't get in and out without scratching it. It had been repaired before I collected the car but the repair gave a shiny finish and has since worn off (well, I think I rubbed it off trying to remove the nasty shine effect! ) Eventually I will have a brand new car! |

That's exactly what I did, except I had the whole front bumper, bonnet and front wings sanded down and resprayed... was completely immaculate when it came out, and was whisked straight off to Paintshield for the film to be put on. I had it painted by Specialised Paintwork in Reading
