* front suspension * hey guys, I tried to search the forum but the app search button doesn't work. anyways, I recently did turbo install and suspension was all good before. after I put everything back on I get clunking noises when turning wheel. I did the adjustable end links under load. control arms, and tie rods I hooked up with no load. did I mess up in doing that? also I replaced a tie rod end btw. I tried adjusting the threads on it in, then out to see if it would fix but did nothing. any help would be appreciated.

Control arms need to be tightened under load. I don't think tie rods need to be.

The arms (both control arm & tension strut) to steering knuckle should be tightened before lowering the car. The arms to subframe tightening is done under load.

If you have access to the Bentley manual go to Sec 310-10 and 310-11.

However, I've no idea if tightening all 4 points under load would create your noise.
