Any info on the downpipes?
Damn I'm in two minds about wagner IC by allowing accounts adds very small amount of power but improves Mpg, but will be good for future plans. |

I will still wait to hear from Carsten at Wagner if he can help on a GB. Just because I have found one doesn't mean I won't help you guys. As soon as Carsten replies to my email I will let you know.

Guys,
Quick Q... is getting a Diesel Downpipe (Catless) worth it for the D's? It clearly gets great reviews for the petrol variants but unsure whether it's worth getting for the D alongside the FMIC? http://www.wagner-tuning.uk/bmw-twin...pipe-239-p.asp |

Where are you guys getting 700nm from for the gearbox torque limit?
According to this: http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/aktio...hmentId=681806 Torque is: GA6HP26Z (designed for maximum torque of 600 Nm) GA6HP32Z (designed for maximum torque of 750 Nm) |

That's a little concerning given that most remaps take it to at least 700 Nm...

Clarification, the box on the 535d can't take as much torque as the 335d.
Lb ft, modified the 335d is said two comfortable take 600 lb ft. |

Mine dyno'd at 602.5 ft lbs @ 3400, and I run it daily. The gear box holds up fine, its a bit clunky in first and second in M or Sport mode below 30 but other than that its seamless. As long as your not doing 0-60 Drags I don't really see there being a problem pushing mine further still.
I can also vouch for the Wagner IC, its great and fits like an OEM part... I'm also running the ecotune downpipe / DPF delete which is just as well fitting and finished. |
