noisy diesel engine after remap?

I had my 325d remaped , driving home I noticed there is some engine vibration that transmits to the pedals, steering wheel ( not noticeable if I drive with high rpm)

the car did not had the issue before, the remap was done by a respectable local tuner. i am tempted to flash my original map, can the remap make the engine noisier? Like if for example the timing was advanced too much.

Something definitely doesn't sound right?

Have you spoken to the tuner about it?

yes, he offered to look at the car. I am not that convinced I want to keep the remap as prefer a quiet engine than extra power. I will probablt flash the original map for now

What's mileage of this car?

If it's high you want to make sure the engine and crucial components are in good condition before remapping.

Still havent solved the issue, I noticed its not noticeable when its warm outside over 20 degrees. I checked the engine mounts, no issue with them the vibration does not transmit to the chassis

Hey mate,

is there any jumps in rpm when its stationary like 750 ==> 800 ?
I was lucky enough to get a bad remap before even on park i could feel the engine rpm jumping.

Regards,
Styvy

Yes there is a bit of jumping in the rpm at idle I think that was also before the remap.
I will flash the original map in the future and see if there is related to the remap.
