You are right Sam, although if you are selling yours as BNIB this means that you have transferable warranty - because if you don't I may as well buy nearly new (no difference).

Estimated Expiration Date: October 23, 2015 So, it was registered with Apple on 24th Oct as of yesterday. It still holds the warranty and you are saving £40 mate. I think it is a reasonable saving. As far as repair is concerned, I have never been asked invoice of any unit whenever I took it to them for any issues.
