You can really tell the difference from the front with the opening in the nose. Here's a picture of the them with the Z06 in front and the C6 on the right and behind.

The rear wheelwells are expanded slightly and the front fender behind the wheels are slightly expanded as well on the Z06.
It's easy to see the difference when they are sitting still, unless you're familiar with them it would be hard to see it on the highway at night.

Ebony is like a dark charcoal gray. It's a great match with black exterior.

Ya martsarge there is no way i couldve been able to tell the difference last night! I have no idea what model it was like u said though im sure it was the base model. Either way its a beast and it was faster than my car

OK here it goes...

I had the cruise control set a 95 mph and i was catching him.. I was like damb this guy is cruising too right on
so after about 20 min of being on a 4lane highway with NOONE on it i finally caught him and as soon I did that fool took off.. remember were already crusing 95/100 at this point. I was in 6th gear so I dropped it In 4th and caught him right away. we pulled to about 130 and he let off i was like half a car length behind him when i saw his car let off..
we cruised back down to about 90 and we had a HUGE downhilll coming I knew this guy was going to try and ditch me but the wasnt happening!
Were doing 90 he hits his lights 3 times and we both jump!! I jumped him a car length right away and started pulling him to about 130 and then we were side by side and I realized this guy was PISSED.. He started pulling me at 140 a car lenghth i was a whole car lenghth behind him till 150 then he pulled another car on me I was like fuck so I slammed it in 6th gear and as soon as it hit almost 160 the governor kicked in... It was like DEAD THROTTLE...I could keep my foot floored and he throttle would come back on as soon i hit 158. that guy must of went to 180 he pulled me 10 cars at least!
Damb vettes got top end like crazy!!!
Just thought id share Im PISSED OFF my car maxed out at 158 i really thought it would go faster!

it's great endorsement for the Procede that you could hang as well as you did.

I had a stock 335 try to run me on the highway a couple weeks ago, I only threw down into 4th at 65 and by 120 I was at least 5-6 car lengths ahead of it.

I have a procharged C6, Full exhaust and some minor motorwork. A stock corvette tops out at 173mph...... LOL I love my vette and the 335's are bad ass cars. Both great cars but a C6 is a muscle car.

A stock C6 will go faster than 173 top end, you may be thinking of stock C5. GM posts a "drag-limited" top speed of 186 and I saw a video from a guy who got to 184 before he backed out, I'll post it if I can find it again.

Car and Driver got a C6 vert up to 178 and wrote this...."Chevy claims the C6's top speed is 186 mph. We weren't provided with enough runway to test that claim, but we did see 178, and the car was very stable." Anytime you can get a vert that goes at least 178, you know it and the coupe are bad-asses.

When we did the mods on mine back in March, we calcuated that I should be able to hit between 195-200 with the extra horses on board.

yeah until you sit in a vet...they suck plastic everywhere...you can push the rear verticle trunk panel in about 3 inches....it is a plastic pice of shit with great performance but THAT IS IT!!!!nothing the stereo sucks the transmission is jerky the steering is all off...they can do a 74mph slalom and 0-60 in low 4's and the zo6 upper 3's but goddamn is it a plastic POS!!!!!! but you know that when you buy one...and my buddies 05 squeeks and raddles like a mofo so what does that tell you!!!!! get a procede and some new suspension and you will be very close and have a lot more to go on...(better everything ie.stereo, heat/ac, trans, every interior feature and exterior feature is of much higher quality in the 335) i suppose a z4 m coupe would be a better comparison and the same goes there...but on a track who the hell wouldn't wanna take a zo6 there...they gotta be nuts...for 65 k to have a sub 4 sec car and a 74 or more on the slalom is pretty damn impressive all CHEAP plastic aside!!!!!!! so damn impressive in the "5th gear segment." unless you spend and get the top o line forget it and even then forget it and they use way way better parts in the top of the line than in the regular!!!!

Based on HP to weight, a Proceed 335i to stock Corvette is very comparable to stock 335i to Proceed 335i. In other words, there is no hanging. It's fun to see what the car can do, but you should know better.

I've run the data on the 2 through some sims before and they are actually closer than you'd think in the short term, in the long term there are too many advantages (HP, weight, & frontal area to name a few) for the Vette. But like most things in life, what should happen and what does happen are two different things and when it comes down to it, it's all about the drivers.
