CSL Reps... Who is cheapest, and how do I sell my 162's...?
I am the one who posted about replacement tires on my 2008 335i.
But browsing this forum last night has me thinking... since I'm buying tires anyway, why not get some 19" CSL Reps and sell off my 162's to offset the cost. So my questions are:
Vendors... feel free to PM me your best, lowest possible quotes shipped to 97140. Anybody interested in my 162's let me know. They have zerocurb rash. Here is the look I'm going for (pic borrowed from collegeguy60) |

as far as the 162's... resale isn't great so consider hanging on to them in case you want to return the car to stock before trading or selling. otherwise you get screwed twice, once on the sale and again when you have to buy another set down the road. nothing worse than buying back something you used to own, for more than you sold it for.
if you do sell them, think about selling them individually. there are more potential buyers looking for just one wheel to replace a damaged wheel, than there are buyers who want a set of 162's. you could put one up at a time on ebay and make out good. hope that makes sense. |

Don't buy the cheapest, buy the best. Our CSL are light and strong. Let me know if you need any info and I`ll be glad to assist you. As far as the 162 put them for sale on the Wheel & Tires section. I have seen a few people interested in them.

Consider our VB3's as well... First to market (2005); multiple platforms E36, E46, E60, E90, E92, E93 among others, and counting; multiple offset choices for each vehicle; more than a dozen color choices; and the most important- thousands and thousands of satisfied customers (in just 19" alone)

Check out TireRack for the combo. Competative pricing. Specifically, on TireRack, look into the Bremmer Kraft BR05. Good price and they look awesome.

OP: I sold my 162's w/tires and tpms easily on this forum 3 yrs ago. Another member's suggestion about selling them individually may be valid.
As far as getting CSL reps, why get the cheapest when you get the closest replica to the E46 M3 CSL wheel from Alufelgen for a little more? I had the Alufelgen CS7's for 3 yrs and they held up really well; superior casting process over other choices and the detail is so close to the original, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. g/l

Both the VMR VB3 or Alufelgen CS7 wheels are great choices. All in all, it comes down to which you like best. The VMR VB3 do feature a thinner spoke design where as the Alufelgen CS7 features a thicker spoke design which is more true to the OEM ZCP wheel.

sold my style 162s 2 years ago for 650 all rashed and tires all shot. Bought a set today actually for 400 all rashed and brand new tires. Sometimes it works in your favor
