Lots of vapor / white exhaust when I start the car

Hi Bros,

Recently I noticed my car has a lot of "white exhaust" or rather vapor when I start the car, be it in the morning or at night. I thought it is because of the cold weather but it occurs even when it's not that cold. I can see it on my rear view mirror even when other cars on the street are ok. It only happens when the car is idling. Any thoughts?

I think that is normal as fully combustion of petrol the result is water vapour.

as long as it is white and there is no bad smells, it's probably water vapor. And in fact it is a good sign showing your engine is in good shapes.

Vapour coming from front ventilation inside your car right? It's normal condensation. I also have it even during the humid summers.

Ah ok.

Moisture bro. Newer cats and exhaust does this.

A blown head gasket? Check under oil cap to see if there's thick substance. Water and coolant may have gone into the combustion causing vapor. Since you say there's no smell, then I don't think this is the case.

Yeah, I was reading up on it today. As long as it doesn't continue throughout the drive, it should just be water vapor.

Its perfectly normal for cold start engine, once it warms up it should be cleared. Thats why you dont see other car having it.

Could be... and if it's condensation, it will go away. If it persists, have it checked out. White smoke is not a good thing
