Was the car recently serviced?

I would clean it up and see if it returns. Perhaps it is just some spilled oil.

Thanks guys for your suggestions.
The car is not under the warranty any more so I would like to see if I can find a reason for this leak myself before I take it to a dealer and spend a lot of money.

There was an oil change 2 months ago and some time after that I noticed that the engine cover and oil cap were dirty with the oil. I cleand it up.
But I do not think the oil from the oil cap could get that far down to this pipe.

I cleaned the pipe from the oil yesterday and I will be monitoring if any new oil shows there.
