Fuel Pump goes out AGAIN.
Within the past 6 weeks the car managed to strand me on the side on the road or in a parking lot 4 times. Nobody likes being stranded any where any amount of times. Now the car is telling me it's the fuel pump but I got that replaced a little over a month ago and it's apparently gone bad already. I haven't pulled the codes yet so I don't know for sure if the fuel pump really is the issue or another mechanism associated with it.
Any how I just want this car stop stranding me and wanted to know aside from this issue whatever it may be, what preventative measures I can take so that it will not strand me again. Atleast for another 100k miles.

Never really heard of a fuel pump going bad on the N51/2 platform. Not saying it isn't possible, just that it isn't common. You would have to pull codes to be certain, but I would also look into who you are taking the car to for the work getting done. Best of luck nonetheless.
