Your lease payment is the same as the purchase payment on my 335d. Take that for what it's worth. Is that residual based on a 36 month lease? If so, considering the 2010's are already out, I wouldn't be comfortable with that if you have any intention of keeping the car after the lease (even with residual negotiation).

Care to direct me where? I did search around but I wasn't getting anywhere close to that, especially around here. Most were over mileage and only had about 800 miles a month. I drive WAY more than that.

Financing a car at the same price = higher payment. Tempting as hell though.

How much was your 335d? Did you put a down payment? Payment wise, a lot of factors come in. I'm more concerned with the selling price I'm getting.

Yes, the residual is for 36 months. Do I plan on keeping the car after the lease is up? Probably not.

My d stickered for $52k, and I paid $45k. Purchase is based on 60 months, and I put $1800 down.

Still think you're paying too much. If can I purchase and pay the same payment as your lease on a similarly priced car, where your car is already a year old, something's not right, imo.

Hmm... well my agreed selling price is $46,900 and I'm putting $0 down so there's about a $3,700 swing between our prices. I tried getting him down to $45k but he wouldn't. Maybe I need to walk away and let it sit there for a little longer.

Did you get some crazy low finance rate?

I did, but still, I don't feel things are adding up for you. I need to take a look at the numbers more to see why.

Ah...quick math says your interest rate is 6.72%. Ask them why it's sickeningly high.

Reference point = the 07 that I used to have I bought in Oct of 07, when the 08's had already been released. My rate on that car translated to approximately 1.9%.

776 for a 09 lease is too much for a coupe

my ballon payments are 709 a month

but then my MSRP was 63k+taxes and licenses

(yeah yeah i could get a M3, but I love verts)

When I was looking for a car for my cousin
we found 09s leasing for $2000 down, $630 a month with 12k a year
so in 3 years, about 1k less than what you're paying

but he ended up buying a g37... but thats a diff story

Nonetheless, a 776 for a lease payment is too high
you pay 25k in 3 years and have to give her back...

Why not try to buy it?
If you can get .9% int rate, you can keep your payment with only a little down... if i did the math in my head right..

The money factor is 0.0028 which I'm sure they bumped up from the base rate for dealer profit. 2010 base rate equates to 3.72%. Add the max dealer profit and it's 4.68%. I'm sure lease rates are worse for 09 vs 10. If that's the case, wouldn't they want to dump the 09 for a lot less?

I wish they had 0.9% financing. They are only offering that on 07-08 CPO cars and 2.9% financing on 2010 models.

Doubt they are offering 0.9% but I can try asking. Lowest rate I've found is 3.99% from a credit union I used before.

Should I just offer $45k or walk? That should bring my payment to the lower $700 range with $0 down, 15k miles.

.0028 * 2400 = 6.72%, is what I'm saying. That's way too high for a car that's not that old, is my point. You should easily be able to shave a couple of points off that. They don't need to be making money on the car, because BMW is already giving them rebate cash. They just need to get rid of the car, so they need to structure the deal to your liking.

Yeah, BMW gave them a $3,500 rebate. So the selling price of the car seems fair but it's the interest rate that is totally off?

What do you think I should throw at them? I kind of want to make some outrageous offer to see what they would do.

Appreciate the input.

I am paying $759 including tax for a 09 M-Sport coupe just like the one you spec'd out. I also have that lease wear and tear included in the payment. My drive off was $1600.

i'd say its way too high for an 09 since the 10's are out now.

I got an 09 335i coupe in July, loaded except for M-sport and Sirius

MSRP: $53k
Selling: $46k

3yr lease, 10k miles/yr
$3k down
$547.50/month + tax = $600.00

That's pretty much what I told them. $0 down and get my payments below $700/month and I'll sign.

Yeah, 10s are out so it makes a huge difference. I already e-mailed them to go lower.

Yeah!

My money factor was like .00175 or something like that. Definitely below .00200 because it's my third BMW. Picked mine up in June of 2009.

Jan 2010 is 0.00155 so I don't know how they can quote me 0.0028 for a leftover 09.

Yep, this past summer right into the fall the money factor was the best it has ever been on the e92, it was the 2009 e92, it had .00175 money factor stacked with 2500 lease cash. It was a steal to get my e92.

My last e90 was a lemon and I went back to BMW just because this deal was too sweet to pass up. I got 3 hundred under invoice, .00175, and 2500 lease cash from BMWFS.

at .0028, that is horrible..

I wouldn't pay over 630ish with 0 down if I was in your shoes.. the money factor is just way too high right now period..

I don't understand why they wont give me a good deal to unload a leftover model! It's a no go anyways. Maybe they will call me back in a month and agree to my offer.

LOL I told him to get my payment under $700/month including tax which means dropping the price and MF and they said No.

Just told them to call me in the "future" if they are willing to sell for my asking price.
