Post your pre LCI E90

Hey everyone, I'm new here. Picked myself up a pre LCI 320D M-Sport. Previously owned three E30's (316, 318is, 325i Sport tech2). Got some big plans for this, loving it so far and done a few things, oil & filter change, LED headlight bulbs, sidelights and number plate bulbs, front splitters although looking to get a full splitter, black gloss grill, tail light tint.

Wheels next then suspension. Would like to see some pre LCI's for some inspiration!

Cheers!

Halogen to xenon e90

Hello, world.

I have a 2007 BMW 328i BLACK SEDAN.
So one day I was driving 60 miles per hour back home from work on the highway.
Suddenly I heard something rattling noise coming from the driver's side so I pull over did a normal inspection I didn't found anything damage & losses.

The next day I went to see a big tire shop.
The guy charges me $60 for diagnostic and he mentions my Rotors are bad.!
And I was like, there's nothing to do with the rotors.
He said I am being disrespectful to him and asked me to leave. I ask him if can ask his mechanic to drive 80 miles so he can hear the rattling noise.
He replied we can't break the law for you by drawing at high speed. anyways I thought arguments with this stupid angry person it's a waste of time.

I come back home jack up my car and start doing my inspection by watching the online form.
I found out one of my suspension components waste of wear and time for a new one.

So the next day I went to YUNK YARD FOR PART SEARCH and what a fun day.

The guy in the front counter said we have two bmw in the yard if you want to take a look at it.
I paid $1 to my entryway
SO I FOUND MY 👀 2007 BMW 335i 4 SEDAN
everything was new the only problem was the water pump was exploded.
The car has a Cream memory sports seat with heated option, mine is basic with the handle I felt like upgrading with he's but I will get back to this.
I turn around see used but great condition XENON HEADLIGHTS. I was like heck yeah I been looking for this for a long time and I went back to grab my tool right away. I paid $80 in a junkyard for it.
I pull those headlights outcome back home
I try testing one side without pulling my old Chinese replica headlight
Connected and it works" so next I pulled that bumper out and put another One and tested just halo and turn signal worked but low beam not lighting up but did in first shot.?

I trying researching and found out people said to replace your ballast so did I bought two from Amazon
And two D1S bulbs cost $200 bulbs and $100 ballasts cost me a total of around $300 right. I checked the angel light bulbs and it's was Lux brand it's cost $200 so I saved $200 again lol
story begins during COVID -19
Bulb new. ballast new.
What other things should I do now?

I have surface book-running window 10
I already downloaded it in an NCSEXPERT.

FRM needs to be reset or it's nothing getting 12 volts?
All I'm doing upgrading from halogen to xenon headlights.
Can do this remotely?

Get back to me as soon as possible.

Have a great time,

Thank you,
~Mudi

I wasn't expecting that lol! How's the ride comfort? I'll soon be going the 19" route and want to lower slightly without turning the ride into a gokart

The ride is comfortable. It's firm, but progressive.
Obviously, if you are on a bumpy road it's a bit stiff.
Last summer i tested it with Wife, daughter and trunk full, on 19", and no one complained

Am i wrong or overseas you have m technik version?
To be honest here in Italy the M sport is equally rare (original from the factory)
When i searching for one some are converted, the only way to recognize them is to check for the presence of the black roof liner.

Mine is even more rare due to the options installed from the factory (manual, leather seats, idrive, panoramic roof, no roof bars, xenon headlights, backline tail lights, comfort lights, etc..)

The first owner spent 70000€ from new

Yes in the UK we have the M-Sport version, not rare at all. Mine does have the black roof lining, but as for the panoramic roof, darklines, idrive, leather seats etc.. nope!

Post a picture of yours!

My interior looks like this:

Here is my '08 335xi. It is completely stock. The only thing I may change in the future is upgrading to LCI taillights. Other than that I am very happy with the stock appearance including the style 159 wheels. The interior is terra brown dakota leather, full power seats (non-sport) with Logic7 sound system and xenon adaptive headlights.
The engine and suspension are going to get some upgrades but it will remain at stock ride height.
