Nice swirl marks left by detailer...
I was going to Vegas, so I figured that I would get my car detailed and lookin good for the trip.. After paying $175.00 for a wax and interior detail I left it to them. When I came back 4 hours later, my car was sitting out front. It looked great as I pulled up, but as I got closer, I noticed that there were hologram-like swirl marks all over the car.. I mean ALL OVER the car. I went and talked to the manager, and he came out and was like, "Oh well black cars always do this, its just what happens when you power buff these cars." I told him that I thought he was full of it, and demanded my money back. After going back and forth for about 20 minutes, we agreed on $90.00 for the job he did..(The interior looked perfect) but now I am stuck with all these swirl marks all over my car... What can I do to get rid of them? I will post some pics today at lunch. Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry to hear about this... 3M swirl remover worked great for me in the past followed by the whole Zaino application...... Good Luck.

Same Frickin' thing happen to me.......
I had some work done to my car Oil change and loose seat. I had a free detail "spa" coupon from when I bought the car from when they did not do a good job on the new car detail they gave me the coupon. Fine. So after a year I decided to use it. I'm always weary of the stealership carwash so I never had my car washed there, but....I thought a hand detail had to be better right??? Just as I thought to my self while it is was being detailed "do they buff the car?" if so I don't want them to just for the swirl mark reason. I called they said it's all done and YES they did buff it. Shit. I pull up and what do I see Swirl mark central. F%$^Ck! Well I would also like to know how the reduce these swirl marks. I did a hand wash after to remove all the residue that they missed and did not clean and it helped a lot but there still are quite a few swirl marks on my car. up until then I didn't even have a scratch. Oh well maybe Taylor can Help ADHD. |

Same thing happened to my car. I tried ZPC to remove them but couldn't get rid of all of them because I didn't want to be too harsh on a new car and applied it only one time. Good thing is that my car is AW and it doesn't show them as much as yours. I can live with them.

Thanks for all the replies... Yea, it totally blows my mind that a DETAIL shop.. I mean this is what they fucking do for a living... Would even think about doing this to a car.. I am in the I.T. field, so that's like me working on a computer, and after I'm done... the picture on the monitor is all screwed up, and me saying "Oh well it does that sometimes..."

I wouldn't of paid them a dime. They could sue me if they wanted some money out of money.
