This is why it's so damn hard to organize a YVR E90POST meet. Seriously guys. I'm sorry but the reason why we originally started with the 7pm time was because several people in the other thread wanted to meet later in the day. Nobody made any clear objections to the time. Now three days before the meet all these people want to change the time. People want a BBQ...a cruise...AYCE...hookers...hotpot...2pm...7pm...5pm ...3pm... Too many people want the meet to be too many things...and very often they pipe in at the last minute. It's too much for this one meet. Relax guys...we'll have plenty more meetups this coming summer. So let's do a proper cruise coming up (with a route preplanned and maps and directions printed out to each driver). Hopefully we can stick in a BBQ meetup as well. These both require planning. For a cruise...I would prefer to not do it this weekend as IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA TO CRUISE ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND WHEN COPS ARE JUST LOOKING FOR ANY REASON TO GIVE TICKETS. Of course that's IMHO...and my strong suggestion to you guys. Let's just stick with the original 7pm time. If you want to show up earlier at ~6pm you can. People rarely come right on time for these things anyways. So you can be early and pick out a spot in the parking lot for the rest of us. I'm hoping to make it out there by 6:40pm-ish anyway. Those who want to grab AYCE dinner afterwards can do so (likely around sundown which is around 9-ish). For those who will be there from 7pm to 9pm it should be plenty of time for people to get photos and shoot the shit/modz/etc. Sunset to dusk is also prime photo shooting time. This is also when photography subjects look the best...and angel eyes look the meanest. Also cops are going to be looking out for speeders and aggressive driving particularly this weekend. Be safe on the roads...and drive exceptionally safe when travelling in packs of BMWs which may lead some n00b cop to think we are road racing. |

7pm is fine for me. which AYCE are we going to?
just a reminder, i watch the news just now and they say police enforcement will be up because of the long weekend, they planned to set road blocks in some places... so yeah, for those of you with tinted windows and no front plate (including myself lol) better roll down your windows, and install those front plates....
