Cool Ultimate Racing 335i Sedan Cat-Back Exhaust

EDITED 1/27/07 with Dyno Charts

Hey guys,

As of today we are officially a vendor on E90Post.com. For those that are not familiar with us, we are a performance manufacturing company that has been specializing in forced induction since 1992. We are well known in the Subaru, Mitsubishi, Honda, and Nissan community for our turbo kits, and/or other products.

Our first product is our exhaust system for the 335i Sedan (Coupe owners, we'll have something for you next!). We would like to first thank all of those that provided feedback in our initial surveying post. Considering all the differing opinions, it was truly a difficult choice. However, we believe that we've come up with something good that will please the majority of enthusiasts.

Here are some key features:

- Full 304 Stainless Steel Construction
- Equal Length Piping
- Twin Polished Stainless Steel Mufflers
- Polished Stainless Steel Muffler Tips (Available in rolled, and single wall)
- Stainless Steel X-Pipe
- Stainless Steel Clamps
- TIG Welded
- 100% Bolt-On with ZERO modifications
- Great sound with ZERO rasp!
- 23 lbs Weight Savings (55 lbs vs 78 lbs stock)

Now the pictures:

You'll notice that the exhaust is designed to keep the pipes equal length, while retaining maximum flow. The muffler tips are angled with the same contour of the rear bumper. Each piece is TIG welded to perfection.

Of course, pictures can say a thousand words, but videos with sound are really where it's at. Enjoy!

Note that sound clips will never do the exhaust any justice. You really do need to hear it in person to appreciate the exhaust's unique note. You will also hear the HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve that we have installed in the car. Oh, and lastly, this particular sedan is automatic

Here are the dyno results. It is important to keep note that no other modifications were done to this car. No tuning, just our cat-back exhaust installed. Try to look beyond peak numbers, and notice the power it has made throughout the powerband.

Our retail price on these exhausts will be set at a competitive $1500.00 USD.

To further support this community, E90Post.com forum members will receive a special discounted price of $1395.00 USD!

We are taking orders for these NOW.

Questions, and comments are welcome.

Looks like a slick system! Do you have pics of the factory catback so I can do a side-by-side without getting my shirt dirty?

We plan to have something available for the coupe early February. Won't be long.

These are dual 2.5".

1) Weight difference versus stock?
2) db difference?
3) Does it retain the 1 active exhaust pipe until warmed up system?

These look and sound great!

These are our own mufflers that we have made for us. We use them on other cars as well.

Thanks!

On q3, my car like every other 335i out there has some "issues" with cold engine smoothness, even after the update was installed. In your experience with your system, does it change this behavior at all? For better or worse?

IMO for $1500 is a bit much for that exhaust esp since i feel its not loud enough, and personally i think it needs some rasp.
