Just bought JB4 and DCI!

After I told myself I would be reasonable and not mod. Well that lasted about a year. This will be the longest 2-5 business days of my life!

Haha I know you're feeling, I have a set of DPs sitting in my basement just begging to get put in. GL not getting addicted to the power once you see how different the car is w/ the tune installed

Lol, there's nothing wrong with that, is there? I will be ordering a tune, intake, and FMIC before I get my 335i probably

Yeah. I'm sure the DPs and FMIC will be going in right after my warranty expires.

Don't wait for the warranty to expire, just do it! You'll kick yourself afterwards if you wait....

I'm hearing that a lot. How easy is the install? Is it something I could easily put back to stock if I have a warranty claim?

Get DOWNPIPES as soon as possible. Much more noticeable than an IC.

Get BOTH as soon as possible cause you are going to end up getting them anyway

Intercooler is easy to install. Downpipes not so much.

Tune and intake, then DP's then Meth. Don't waste your money on a FMIC. As long as your car has an oil cooler you'll be fine. Running Meth keeps temps down.

Well IMO, both take some time to install, Downpipe are much harder but intercooler isnt something that can be done as quick as tune and intake.

you can install tune and intake in less then an hour or so. Very easy to take off an on, intercooler and downpipes are the type of mods you dont take off and on often.

im happy with tune and intake.

As long as the IC is direct fit it shouldn't take more than an hour to install as long as you can access the underneath of the car. IC's that are a direct fit (IIRC) are Helix, ETS 5", ER, HPF, CP-E, Wagner, AMS, AA Sport, and I believe RPI. Please someone correct me if I am wrong. I am pretty sure a dealer is not going to give you too much gripe about an upgraded IC. More than likely they won't even notice it unless there are supporting mods such as CP, BOV, DV's, meth, etc..

Downpipes are a totally different story. Catless DP's are are very noticeable and as far as a warranty claim goes any modification to the exhaust will raise a red flag.

In reality the fist thing you should get with a tune is an Intercooler so you dont overheat the engine and cause it to go under "heat soak"

Much of the people here dont know what they are doing. Trust me get a Intercooler and an oil catch can as soon as you can fallow that with downpipes if you still think you need more power.
