Alignment specs for aggressive street driving?
I am going to be running M3 control arms and APEX ARC-8's within the next month, and I plan on aligning the car after the additions. My car has stock M-Sport suspension (which will be upgraded early summer), and my wheel/tire setup will be 18x9 ET30 235/40 front, and 18x9.5 ET35 265/35 rear. Tires will be PS4s'
I am looking for a decent alignment setup to take advantage of the new M3 control arms and grippier tire setup. This car is my daily though, so I want to avoid crazy excessive camber which would cause darting/significantly increased tire wear. Thoughts?

My thoughts are drill out the alignment pins and go for the most camber you can get up front while keeping it even both sides. This should be around -1.3 to -1.5 with M3 control arms.
For the back I would go -1.7 which is right at the high end of factory spec. If your toe is good (like 1/16” toe in front and 1/8” toe in back) then you can have nice even tire wear with these camber settings. These settings are not super aggressive just aggressive for daily driving with favoring even tire wear. |
