You have to use profile with MAN file manipulation. Which version of NCS exper do you use? Email me I will share you already made profile EXPERT MAN.
I am using V3.1.0 NCSexper. I read only from CAS module. Where can I download the V4 NCSexper? Thanks

Read from CAS-ECU and save the FSW_PSW.TRC file.
Then read from the KMOBI module and saved the TRC file to MAN and changed the BC_DIGITA_V to aktiv and downloaded the file to the KOMBI and it all went OK. Had the digital display on the cluster.
But now comes up with the SPeedometer display fault on the car.
Only the speedometer needle is working on the car now and the other 3 needles are not working now. I do not have a back up of the KOMBI module read from the car.
Then I changed the BC_DIGITA_V back to Nicht aktiv with the same result.
Where do i go from here.http://www.e90post.com/forums/images...es/mad0259.gif

Hi, so yesterday I've tried to install Dension 500s BT. First I have tried to code the car. But I got error
COAPI-1141: FSW faulty
MP3_CHAMP

so I've code car without this option. We've connected the Dension and everything works fine but I am not sure why I got the error. Is it necessary to have this attribute in MASK?

No. Something was installed wrong. Most likely your drivers.

any time I've run across this one, personally, it was incompatible data files for that module.
I've only been at this since Friday but there has certainly been a lot of file swapping and learning things the hard way.

Hi, I live in the UK and recently purchased a 2009 318i M-Sport E90 LCI. I have been studying this thread in detail, but I have not seen the problem that I am having. I have followed the DIY pdf using NCSexpert and everything works as described including the final coding step. I do not get any errors, and it states that the coding has ended. However, nothing in any of the modules is changing. I have tried coding several different modules (changing nicht_aktiv to aktiv), but no changes are made. When I read the modules out again, the aktiv that I changed is still nicht_aktiv. If anyone could please point me in the right direction, I would be very greatful. Thanks.

Sorry I'm new to coding. Please can you explain "proper profile with MAN maniplation". I followed the DIY pdf and everything worked as described in the pdf, except nothing changes. At what step do you think I may have gone wrong?

Which version of NCS exper do you use?
You should install Standard Tools 2.12 with NCS exper 4.01. I can give you MAN profile.
You are not able to change anything, because I assume that you try to edit only trc file, right?

Hi, thanks for your help. I'm using NCS Expert V3.1.0 so looks like I need to update this.
I am following the DIY pdf. I rename the FSW_PSW.TRC as FSW_PSW.MAN then edit the MAN file. Is there something else I should be editing? There's nothing else mentioned in the pdf.

PM sent.

You have to first Read Out your selected module, so change job to Codieraten_lesen and execute job. Next you have to copy your FSW_PSW.trc from NCSEXPER\WORK to desktop and edit it there. Then you have to change his extension to .man and copy back to work folder replacing existing blank file FSW_PSW.man which is already there. If you done this, you have to change job tp SG_CODIEREN and execute job, All changes from MAN file will be saved in your MODULE.

After you edit MAN file you need to select "save as type" to all files.
Otherwise it will save as a text file.

hello,
I have succesfully install and coded my e92 with bussines idrive. One guy from my city wanted the dension also.

He has bmw e60 2005 with idrive professional . First I had problem to get into LMA module, but I have used older version of edibias and succesfully coded new VO to CAS and LMA:

$694 - CDChanger preparation - removed
$672 - added
+KMP3 - added

.. now the strange things comes... I add to CAPPL this:

CDC
aktiv
MP3
activ
MP3CDC
aktiv
MP3_CCC
full
MP3_CHAMP
aktiv
CDMM_CHANGER_3
mp3_cdc

it was succesfully coded , than I have read the CAPPL again and it seems like I havent coded anything...there is absolutly something else, only:

CDC
aktiv
MP3_CCC
full

...Anyway. When I choose the CD in iDrive ..the car cant see the Dension, still saying:

No supported and readable audio medium found in either internal drive

I have checked the settings of Dension, and everything is ok - connection/setting. But when the ignition is on, Dension started blink and after while the diode goes off !

Does anybody know why is this happening?? It seems the e60 have big problems with densions. I haven't also found any MASK module in NCSE, is it ok??

Hi again! After successfully coding the KOMBI and NFRM modules I thought I would have a go at coding the MCIC module. When I try and read the module I am getting errors! I have gone through all of the modules now and I am able to read 12 of the 18 modules listed. The other 6 give me errors such as; Errors in EDIABAS or in SG description file, Incorrect SG-coded index and Coding sequence description file A_CIC not found or corrupted. Please can anyone help to correct this problem?
