bmw 335coupe 2007 steering wheel locked with red indicator

Hello,
i have a bmw 335coupe 2007 and today i cannot start the car...a message appear "steering wheel locked with a red indicator with a lock"
what should i do?is this very important...

Try disconnecting your battery for a little while to see if that resets it. If not, call the dealer.
