DFW : JB4 Installer Wanted
Hey guys,
I live out in Euless (west side of DFW airport) and I have a JB4 and USB cable waiting to be installed. I know there are some people that can install these things and pull them out in 30 minutes flat. For some reason I don't feel comfortable with this install. I don't mind basic bolt-ons but when it comes to messing with most wiring, ecu, etc., I'd rather leave it to someone with experience. I guess I'm bothered by the fact that there's not a step by step install document out there... Both the PDF and videos leave gaps and I'm afraid I'll miss something / f something up. So basically what I'm looking for is someone to install the JB4 and route the cable into the glove compartment. I'll gladly compensate you for your time, and you'll be saving me a headache. If interested, call or text 817-262-3538, give me an idea of what side of town you're on and how much cash you require and hopefully we'll get things hooked up. Thanks, Peter |

It really is very easy but if you decide to get someone to do it for you I'd suggest that you pay attention so if you ever want/need to remove it you'll know how.
Do it once or twice and you can be in and out of the ECU box in 15 minutes. |

Got together with Sammy today and he had the whole thing done in about half an hour, and he did the ISO flash as well.
So, of course the first thing I do is head to the gas station and put in 5 gallons of E85 and top off with 93. I feel new tires coming on soon. Sammy tells me I need to throw on some downpipes. I don't know why he finds it necessary to try and kill his customers. lol Peter |

If you're going to own a JB4 and use it in your BMW then IMO you need to know how to install/uninstall a JB4 unit because it's to easy to not know how. It'll prob take you 2 hours your first time but after a few times you'll be doing it in 20 minutes. It's def intimidating your first time though.
