Curb rash!!! Repairable?
So after 3.5 months of flawless driving, free of all scratches and knicks, I curbed my front passenger side wheel on a freakin' curb in a dark neighborhood. (And to think I always make fun of "idiots" who do this...) Needless to say, I will never forget the sound of my rim getting scraped on the concrete.
Apologies for the blurry picture...can this be repaired easily? How do they repair things like this? I have the wheel & tire insurance, but what I hit was not a "road hazard"...

Very easy. You could DIY if you are handy at those things http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext43.shtml

very fixable. I had mine repaired today and it came out great! You can't even tell where the curb rash was now!

I did it for two of my 162s that were curb rashed, and it came out perfect except for the clear coat doesn't feel as smooth as the original clear. You can't see any difference, though, so I'm good with it. I am not a big DIY-er, so I think anyone can do it. It takes some time, though, so decide whether your time is worth the $100 or so it would cost to just pay someone.
I basically followed the Audi DIY linked (there also was an e90post equivalent, but I think the pictures are no longer available so the post is not as useful). Take the wheels off before doing it. Maybe wait to fix them until you swap out your summer wheels for winter wheels. It makes it WAY easier.
