Very nice man!! Keep thinking that I should have purchased the vert instead of the coupe. Both yours? If yes why same? Why not an IS and M3?

Yeah, I dunno if I could have handled the sample, then the wait. Congrats though, mine is currently slow rolling its way into San Diego... It's killing me.

Driving my own car on the Nurburgring is something I'll never forget. Plus getting to drive in the alps and on the Autobahns the car was designed for was amazing. But yeah the wait really sucks.

OH I'm certain you had a blast... I'm also just as certain that the dropping off and flying home would have led to me becoming an alcoholic.

I'm getting really tired of waiting, and watching my boat go the wrong way today? Killing me.

Congrats though, I cannot wait till mine finally gets here. I think these might possibly be the last of the best for a generation anyway... Hope not but, I dunno.

I'm just making a list and buying presents for her when she gets back here. That's my coping device.

Still cant believe i'm the owner of one of the last 335is's around. I was contemplating the new 4 series but the wait till almost the end of the year and the new models look weren't all the persuading. I pulled the trigger on this gorgeous black on grey 6spd 335Is. The car has practically every single option available, including the cold weather package(i live in south florida). I still think its too good to be true and expect the dealer to call me wanting to return my trade lol. This car is a true joy to drive, the torque, quick acceleration, instant power, comfort and luxury, couldn't ask for more. The only thing i do miss from my e92 m3 is the active steering and the stiffer suspension. Without further delay, i'll share a couple of pics.

Congrats! I've seen so many comparisons of the M3 and 335is, but not sure I've ever seen anyone who has owned both. What was your motivation for the switch?

Well I didn't go straight from the M to the 335, had an FRS and then an STi. If i had to compare the M to the 3 i would say the three feels a lot more quicker, at least street driving. I had a tune, intake, pulley and full exhaust on the M, which produced 386whp. The inside of the cars is nearly identical, but turbo just has so much more potential, more fun on the street. The M is a great track car, i'll see what the 335 could do.

Does anyone know if they stopped selling 335is or know of any way to get a slightly used one in Cali?

2013 E93 335is  [10.00]
My 335is vert has finally set sail from "Bimmer Heaven!"

So fired up! I traded in my Monaco blue 2007 335i coupe and now await a Le Mans blue 335is vert! In the interim, I am driving a friend's 2000 Honda Accord. I have to give that car credit, it is still ticking with 280,000 miles on it! Let's just say I have not been out of the slow lane since borrowing it! Talk about an interesting transition! Even the break-in period will make me feel like I'm going Mach 2! Ha.

My Sexy Beast is scheduled to arrive in Port Huaneme on July 10th. I would assume the subsequent transport to Nor Cal and final detail at the dealership will take another week or so.

RyanC, great photos of your Euro delivery! Love the Le Mans blue brother!

I did not have time to do ED this go 'round. I definitely plan to do it next time. Hopefully for a 2017 M3.:-) I have driven through Bavaria and Austria and picnicked in the Saltzkammergut (sic). I was young and couldn't afford much, so I rented a VW GTI. I was redlining it on the Autobahn and being passed with ease by big Bimmers and MBZs. It was annoying. I will exact my revenge when I return next time.

Has anyone taken their ED vehicle to the Adriatic. I will do some serious research, but it would be amazing to drive from Germany down to Italy and take a car ferry over to Croatia and Montenegro. I think I would feel like I was in a Bond movie. LOL

Cheers all. Pix to follow upon arrival!

They have remained available longer than I thought they would be, apparently BMW had more left over and scratch and dent parts laying around than I thought.

They'll likely keep making them until they are finally out of leftovers though, no point in leaving metal laying around.
