The Weiß und Blau is almost a shrine for me, so I would stick with giving your silver & black ride a speck of color.

I'd go with blue unless you don't want to match your front hood badge... I think mismatched badging would look tacky. Or... You could change everything...

I'm going to say neither.

I have those same rims, and sent the center-caps back to Tire Rack.
The rims aren't BMW wheels, so why put BMW center-caps on.

It's early, but a landslide victory for the Blue / White is apparent. Follow up question...just the decals or actual centre caps?

How hard is it to remove and install actual centre caps? Anyone want to add a DIY file for this?

One of my friends has those wheels (ASA JH3, right?) on her E60 530i. The center caps are easily removed -- you just poke them out with a finger or two from the inside. The Roundels from the OEM wheels fit, too.

Another friend of mine has them for her Lexus LS430. The Lexus center caps do NOT fit.

OBTW, does the E9x have 17mm lugs? I have that size socket from my M5 (which also fits the E60). On the Lexus, they use 21mm lugs. The mounting holes for the lugs aren't much larger than that. There's plent of clearance with a 17 MM lug, but for the 21, you need a special, thin-wall socket to get between the lugs and the wheel. Ugh.

The stock center caps do fit those wheels, but it's not perfect as the flanges are a bit different. I've had my stock caps on those wheels for a few weeks now and they look and work fine. Just pop the stock ones out from behind and put them in the new wheels.

As for not putting them on non-BMW wheels, IMHO that's silly. None of the wheels are made by BMW, so technically none of them are "BMW wheels".
