i bought beau derricks chrome trim (upper and lower)
i did the swap myself... my lower black trim, which is rubber, bent when removing (its impossible to not bend it) and its unusuable. my black upper trim is tho. his chrome trim upper and lower was removed by the dealership that did a good job, and removed successfully, witout and 'bubbles' in the lower chrome trim. overall, it was well worth it

ok i know there are chrome owners that want to do black without getting expensive trim or painting it! i am leaning towards only doing the top part because i think both parties would agree that they dont wanna mess up the trim and that the top part is the easiest part to take off without screwing it up. swoop...i was in d.c last week lol

Sorry. I just now found this thread for the first time. As stated, the entire chrome trim can be removed, in good shape, as long as you do it with care. It helps offset the cost of shadowline trim if one sells the chrome to a 325/328 owner, and then buys shadowline. Also as stated by Canucklion, my photography skills leave much to be desired, but the trim looks great in person. I think this thread has some pics that showcase it fairly well...
