I read the whole article:
It appears the rpi exhaust gained 40+ hp in the midrange in the rpi car that already had a ess flash.
On a stock car - supposedly a customer - rpi said their exhaust gained approx 30 hp.

If all is true very impressive - but no real verification yet.

If they gained 40 whp only from a catback and the car was already tuned thats still pretty impressive..or am I misunderstanding something

The initial dyno appears that it was not tuned. So if you add a tune and traditionally get 40 rwhp, then the exhaust is worth what?

No, according to rpi their car was tuned by ess and then gained 40 hp from exhaust only.
